I’ve been using Winamp as my audio player on Windows since 1998… and I still am.
It’s not nearly as bulky as iTunes and you can still have it in the original green! (although you can skin it).
It’s recently been sold by AOL to Radionomy (Jan 2014) so the state of the software is in limbo as no-one will comment if any work will be done on it for the future.
I hope that they open source the code soon so it will live on.
