The demise of Dave Walker

Computery stuff

I keep leaving this blog to fester and suffer from IT loneliness in the wastelands of the internet. Slowly but surely any SEO benefit it gives the phrase “Dave Walker” from popping up in a Google search dies with it. So from today I’m gonna blog properly. Then when I’m one of the top Dave Walker’s in the UK, I’ll then consider taking over the world.

Today while working I was listening to a live set from the brilliant Daniel Avery who was banging out a three hour set on his tod in the middle of the day at a room in Fabric.  That man floats my boat when it comes to creating the electronic noises that makes my numskull bleep department go crazy.  I’ll soon point a link to the Soundcloud and Boiler Room pages as they come online.

Other stuff going on with me is some meagre effort to get some fitness in my life. Had a 5 mile run on Tuesday and gonna try the same again tomorrow.

In IT news I’m building Openedge Appserver controls and APIs and attempting to link an already existing demo webapp I built using Laravel. Only possible interest to nerds, I’m trying to keep notes via Evernote and will publish them here when they are decent enough to follow.

OK… day 1 brain dump done. Peace. X
