Filezilla is an awesome Open Source free to use FTP client.
I use mine on Windows but have a few machines that I use depending on where I’m working.
With that in mind I try to keep the Site Manager synced up by storing the files on Dropbox and copying them to the Filezilla area when I need to.
You can find the Windows 7 shared files in:
C:\Users\YOUR-USER\AppData\Roaming\FileZilla
