    Solar Polar is the website blog and testing ground for Dave Walker. Dave lives in Malton, North Yorkshire and is originally from Dundee, Scotland. He’s been involved in the IT Industry for over 16 years and is still addicted to computers. Favourite game : FIFA

  • Solar Polar Music

    Years ago when drinking in a Dundee pub we thought of the name “Polar” for a band name. The choice was made until we happened upon another band playing in Mickey Coyles a few months later also called “Polar”. That meant I had to change the name and Aves came up with Solar Polar. The Polar band playing in the pub that night changed their name too, to Snow Patrol and no-one’s heard of them since.
