Over the course of his 1st year with us our slightly manic black lab “Kipper” has eaten…

  • The dining room chairs
  • My hand
  • The laptop cable
  • A 2kg tub of cooking butter
  • The Rabbit food
  • The Cat food
  • Thomas
  • a packet of “Nick-Naks”
  • the portable heater
  • rabbit poo
  • all the slippers in the house
  • a stuffed zebra
  • adidas gazelles

  • Solar Polar Music

    Years ago when drinking in a Dundee pub we thought of the name “Polar” for a band name. The choice was made until we happened upon another band playing in Mickey Coyles a few months later also called “Polar”. That meant I had to change the name and Aves came up with Solar Polar. The Polar band playing in the pub that night changed their name too, to Snow Patrol and no-one’s heard of them since.
